Why the burr matters
Same size every time
A blade grinder chops at random and produces a mix of fine dust and coarse chunks. A burr grinder forces the bean through a fixed gap, so almost every particle is the same size. That's what gives you an even extraction - not too weak, not bitter - and the same result every morning.

Ceramic burr mechanism
Harder than steel and non-corrosive. Ceramic doesn't heat the coffee during grinding and leaves no metallic trace in the grind.

Getting the best from it
Grind settings
The collar adjusts the gap between the burrs. Lower numbers are finer; higher numbers are coarser. These are starting points - adjust by a step or two depending on your beans and taste.
Go higher up the range for dark roasts.
Grinding spices as well as coffee?
Run a small handful of rice through it between the two. It clears the leftover oils and grounds, so your cumin doesn't turn up tasting of this morning's coffee.
If it slows or keeps stopping partway through
It isn't struggling - it needs charging. A top-up over USB-C brings it back to full speed.
