I grew up in Cape Town, where helping my mum prep for dinner parties - and baking alongside her - sparked a lifelong love of food. I'm drawn to bold, bright flavours, from the Cape Malay babotie of my childhood to Thai green curry and fresh pan-fried salmon. My Microplane zester is never far from reach.

Cooking has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and for the past 15 years I've had the pleasure of teaching it - in cookery schools and in community centres across London. I now teach classes in our cook school, drawing constant inspiration from the city's remarkable mix of cultures and cuisines, and I love helping people get more out of cooking by choosing the right tools.
Our classes are hands-on and small. You cook, you eat what you cooked, and there's usually a glass of wine at the end. You'll leave with a technique you'll actually use again.
