A complete dessert fiend, I am rather partial to cheesecake, but for those with a sweet tooth, you cannot beat Gulab jamun - like little doughnuts with cardamom, steeped in rose and saffron syrup!

I learnt a lot growing up from my grandmother in Norfolk - an amazing cook. Later in life, I lived in Hong Kong for a year, and fell madly in love with Asian food, with a particular soft spot for Vietnamese. I love to cook Pho - a good beef broth with star anise is my idea of heaven.
