Feed it for life
Your board + Season Chopping Board Oil - one feed now, then whenever it looks tired. The few seconds it takes is the difference between a board for life and one that dries and splits.
What you're really buying
Kinder to your knives
End grain meets the blade end-on, between the wood fibres rather than across them - so your edges stay sharp far longer.
Built to outlast your kitchen
Dense, close-grained walnut, naturally rich in its own oils - a board this solid takes years of daily prep and only ages more gracefully for it.
Great quality. Really good service.

A heavy duty end grain chopping board made from deep walnut - as beautiful to look at as it is to use. One side has a groove all round to collect juices or crumbs, the other side is plain.

Material: walnut, end grain, oil finish. Designed in London. Wood sourced sustainably from FSC-approved suppliers in South America; finished in China.
Durable
Walnut is a dense hardwood, and we finish the board with oil to add an extra layer of protection. Like any wooden board, it needs drying straight after washing.
Keep knives sharper for longer
The hardwood end-grain is kind to a knife's edge (and it looks lovely).
Sustainably sourced
Our wood comes from FSC-approved suppliers in South America, where trees are cut to thin the forest and keep it healthy.
How it wears
Like any wooden board it will show knife marks over time. Walnut is dark, so fresh marks show pale at first - regular oiling darkens them back into the wood. A board that's used looks used, and can be fully restored at any point in its life.
Care
Wash by hand, dry straight away and stand on its edge to air. Never leave it wet or soaking, and not suitable for the dishwasher - a board left damp can warp or start to smell. Protect and nourish your board about once a month with Season Chopping Board Oil.
