Feed it for life
Your board + Season Chopping Board Oil - one feed now, then whenever it looks tired. The few seconds it takes is the difference between a board for life and one that dries and splits.
What you're really buying
Kinder to your knives
End grain meets the blade end-on, between the wood fibres rather than across them - so your edges stay sharp far longer, and the surface closes back over each cut.
Built to outlast your kitchen
Dense, heavy teak, naturally high in its own oils - a board this solid takes years of daily prep and only ages more gracefully for it.
A board for life, if you feed it
A few seconds of oil now and again is the difference between a board that lasts a lifetime and one that dries and splits - which is exactly what the care set above is for.
Oh my goodness - the best chopping board, ever. Unbelievably beautiful.

Last longer than any other wooden chopping board
Due to its naturally high oil content, teak is resistant to moisture - one of the reasons these butchers block boards are so durable. We finish the board with oil to add an extra layer of protection.
Keep knives sharper for longer
The hardwood end-grain of these cutting boards provides just the right amount of give to keep knives sharp (and it looks lovely).
Sustainably and ethically produced
Harvested from a forest in South America, trees are cut down that 'thin out' the forest to ensure its continued health. That's why they're Forestry Stewardship Council approved.
Three questions people ask
Why end grain? The blade goes between the wood fibres rather than across them, so the edge stays sharp longer and the board closes up after the cut instead of scoring.
Teak or walnut? Teak is denser and higher in natural oil, so it tolerates water better. Walnut is darker and lighter in the hand.
Will it warp? Not if it is dried after washing and oiled every month or so. A board left standing in water will.
