Vietnamese cooking builds flavour through balance rather than time. Herbs go in raw and late. Heat is met with acid, salt with sugar. It is why the food tastes light without tasting like less.
You'll make a pho stock from scratch - the step most recipes tell you to skip - and cook a rice flour pancake thin enough to shatter.
Classes are capped at ten. We cook, then sit down and eat what we've made. Wine is included.

- Pho - a vegetable stock built from scratch, with rice noodles, raw vegetables and herbs added at the end
- Vegetarian summer rolls with a spicy dipping sauce
- Spiced pork balls in lettuce cups
- Bánh xèo - a crisp coconut and rice flour pancake filled with prawns and raw vegetables
Wheat free. Gluten free on request. 18+.
Cancellation: with more than a week's notice you can move to another class or take a full refund. Inside a week we can't offer a refund.
Tutor
Danielle has taught cooking for fifteen years, privately and in schools across London. She'll have you tasting the stock every few minutes and adjusting it, on the basis that a recipe is a starting point and your palate is the finish.

Our preferred couriers DPD will notify you of a one hour time slot on the morning of delivery. If next day delivery (for orders placed before 12pm) does not suit, simply choose a convenient weekday by entering it in Notes at the checkout. Saturday and Sunday delivery are also available for a reasonable
charge (see below for prices).
(As standard, Next Day means next working day, so goods sent on Friday will arrive on Monday)

Returns of incorrect, damaged or defective items
Please contact us on hello@seasoncookshop.co.uk with your order number and what the issue is (a picture sometimes helps where appropriate) and we will help arrange the return of any items that are incorrect, damaged or defective. We will cover our courier cost.

Returns of unwanted items
Unwanted items can be returned to us within 30 days for an exchange or full refund, so long as they are unused and as new, complete with original packaging. Please contact us on hello@seasoncookshop.co.uk with your order number and we will either provide you with return details for you to send it back to or help you send it back using our courier service. The cost of the latter is £7.00, which will be deducted from your refund. Alternatively, we can arrange for your order to be returned to one of our London stores.
