Coconut turns up in four of the five dishes and never the same way twice: grated raw into the pol sambol, simmered into the dhal and the curry, worked into the roti dough. Sri Lankan cooking gets more out of one ingredient than most cuisines get out of ten.
You'll make two sambols that do opposite jobs - one raw, hot and sharp, the other onions cooked down slowly until sweet - and pol roti, a flatbread with fresh coconut in the dough rather than on the side.
Classes are capped at ten. We cook, then sit down and eat what we've made. The wine is included.

Four of the five dishes are vegetarian; the curry can be too, on request.

Cancellation: with more than a week's notice you can move to another class or take a full refund. Inside a week we can't offer a refund.
Tutor
Danielle has taught cooking for fifteen years, privately and in schools across London. She teaches the recipe as a guide rather than a rule - you'll be tasting and adjusting as you go rather than measuring.

Our preferred couriers DPD will notify you of a one hour time slot on the morning of delivery. If next day delivery (for orders placed before 12pm) does not suit, simply choose a convenient weekday by entering it in Notes at the checkout. Saturday and Sunday delivery are also available for a reasonable
charge (see below for prices).

Returns of incorrect, damaged or defective items
Please contact us on hello@seasoncookshop.co.uk with your order number and what the issue is (a picture sometimes helps where appropriate) and we will help arrange the return of any items that are incorrect, damaged or defective. We will cover our courier cost.

Returns of unwanted items
Unwanted items can be returned to us within 30 days for an exchange or full refund, so long as they are unused and as new, complete with original packaging. Please contact us on hello@seasoncookshop.co.uk with your order number and we will either provide you with return details for you to send it back to or help you send it back using our courier service. The cost of the latter is £7.00, which will be deducted from your refund. Alternatively, we can arrange for your order to be returned to one of our London stores.
