We are very disappointed with the frying pan. We've had it a week. We've tried resealing it. We don't use detergents of any type. All in all we've followed all the instructions to the letter. Not what we expected from Season Cookshop.

Well worth buying

Good frying pan ,simple to use.(Fed up with expensive supposed ,environmental non stick pans that eventually disintegrate.)

Great quality

Excellent pan. Seasoned with flax oil and works a treat. Heavy duty but not as heavy as cast iron. Very happy and good quality

Hi, I have ordered the 30cm as wanted to cook large amounts of food in it however when I read up after about the product it has said your hob needs to be as big as the pan? I measured my standard electric hob after and it would only fit the 20 cm which would not be big enough I feel for my needs. Does it really matter that the heat is evenly spread across the pan? It says it will ruin the product. Thanks in advance

Hello, Netherton Foundry have said that the pan CAN be used on a smaller ring but it MUST be heated slowly, allowing the heat to disperse fully before increasing the power. They recommend at least a minute (which is always longer than people think) on the lowest setting before moving up through the settings gradually.

Spun iron performs better on induction at a lower setting than you might imagine and there is rarely any need to go above 7-8. It is suggested you use the warm up period to do food prep, enjoy a cup of tea or even open the wine and set the table.

We hope this helps!

Can this pan be out in the oven

Jason M.

Hello, this iron pan is suitable for all types of hobs. For use in the oven, the wooden handles can easily be removed. They are held in place with two screws, so just need a standard flat head screwdriver and a safe place to keep the screws so you can re-attach the handles later.
