The Season Cast Iron Shallow Casserole is incredibly versatile. We've had amazing results, from bread making to biryanis.
The walls and lid of our casserole are the same thickness to ensure even cooking and baking in the oven. This makes the Season Shallow Casserole perfect for bakes as well as ensuring casseroles are cooked perfectly throughout.
The lid is slightly domed and designed to enable air to circulate and to catch moisture during the cooking and baking process. An array of small dimples on the lid then bastes your dish evenly with the captured moisture, and the flavour of casseroles and roasts to be enhanced. It's also perfect for things like a focaccia, where the even moisture creates a better rise.
Conscious of contributing to domestic harmony, we worked with interior designers in London, and have created a choice of timeless colours that will enhance rather than dominate both contemporary and more traditional kitchens.
