FAQ
What is a burr grinder and how does it work?
A burr grinder uses two precisely engineered abrasive surfaces, called burrs, to crush coffee beans into consistent particles. Unlike blade grinders, which chop beans unevenly, burrs grind by squeezing the beans between the rotating burr and the stationary one. This creates uniform grounds, which means your coffee brews more evenly and tastes smoother, richer, and more balanced.

Is this grinder suitable for all brew methods?
Yes — the Season Burr Grinder has 9 adjustable grind settings. Simply turn the adjustment dial to select your preferred grind size. A finer setting is best for espresso or moka pots, while a coarser setting works well for filter coffee and cafetières.
How much coffee can I grind at once?
It holds up to 25g of coffee beans — enough for 1–2 cups depending on your brew method. For the best flavour, we recommend grinding only what you need for each brew.
What material are the burrs made from?
The Season Burr Grinder uses a ceramic conical burr, designed for durability, precision, and consistent results. Ceramic burrs stay sharp longer, resist heat buildup, and provide a more even grind
Can I grind spices or nuts with this grinder?
The Season Burr Grinder can handle small, dry spices like peppercorns, fennel seeds, or cloves.
We do not recommend grinding nuts or larger, harder items like cinnamon sticks or star anise, as the hard texture can damage the burrs.
