Team Season Islington

Dylan at Season Islington

Dylan

My earliest memories of cooking are of being in the kitchen with my mum and nan, making nalesniki together and learning how much food can bring people together. These days, I love cooking everything from Thai curries and golabki to birria tacos, and I get a real kick out of helping customers build the confidence to try something new.

Banshita at Season Islington

Banshita

Before London, I was a dental surgeon in India, but I've always been happiest in a kitchen. I learned to cook the unfussy way - rajma, dal blipping away, whatever came together on a weeknight. Season treats cookware how I treat cooking: nothing disposable. So I point people towards the pan they'll still be using in twenty years.

I'm one of three, so I grew up with big spreads - my aunty taught food tech, my grannie ran a catering business, and nobody in our family has ever cooked for fewer than six. Pasta is my first love, but lately I've been working through Asian cooking - stir-fries first, now ramen with my sister. Baking is next on the list. Come and talk to me about any of it, especially if it involves sugar.

Classes at Season Islington

Our classes are hands-on and small. You cook, you eat what you cooked, and there's usually a glass of wine at the end. You'll leave with a technique you'll actually use again.
